Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mortis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Li looks for a takedown but Mortis sprawls well.

Rigor Mortis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li takes a swing at Mortis's ribcage but misses.
Li closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Li seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mortis for as long as he can get away with.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Li drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mortis controls Li momentarily but Li frees himself.
Mortis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Mortis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Li with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Li is not content to let Mortis control the position.
Li has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mortis is working away from the top position though.

Rigor Mortis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
