Good work by Kaepernick as he checks the leg kick.

Kaepernick cracks Diotte with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kaepernick throws a series of punches but Diotte moves out of range.
Diotte showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kaepernick.
Diotte throws a low kick but Kaepernick avoids it.

and Kaepernick counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Diotte attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

enabling Kaepernick to counter with a crisp jab.
Kaepernick bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Diotte has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kaepernick finds it's way round the side to connect with Diotte's head.

It looks like Colin Kaepernick has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diotte looks to throw the jab but Kaepernick is out of range.
Diotte lands a lovely overhand right.
Kaepernick has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Diotte tries to land a front kick but Kaepernick steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Kaepernick connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Diotte avoids the body shot from Kaepernick.
Diotte lands a really nice looking cross but Kaepernick seems unphased.

Diotte was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Diotte clobbers Kaepernick with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kaepernick swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Diotte throws a body shot but no joy.
Diotte misses with a looping left.
Kaepernick scores with a decent looking hook.
Kaepernick looks to throw the jab but Diotte is out of range.
Diotte swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Diotte throws a lazy uppercut
and Kaepernick counters with a left to the body.
Diotte fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kaepernick on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diotte displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kaepernick throws out the jab.

Diotte avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Diotte makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kaepernick really felt that one!

Kaepernick throws a nice looking combination but Diotte bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Diotte drops Kaepernick with a beautiful combination! Kaepernick stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Diotte is looking for the KO!
Kaepernick is rocked!
Diotte is looking to chop away at Kaepernick's legs.
Kaepernick is holding his hands too far apart here. Diotte throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Kaepernick is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Andrew Diotte was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Colin Kaepernick stepped up to the mic, saying 'shit balls'.
