Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Owen!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sansing circles away from the clinch attempt.
Owen gets caught napping as Sansing dives in and scores a takedown. Owen manages to retain guard.
Sansing lands a couple of digs.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sansing accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Owen keeping full guard, as Sansing tries to pass.
Sansing trying to control the position from guard on top but Owen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sansing pushing down on Owen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Sansing is looking for a kimura but Owen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sansing to get the leverage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owen pushes Sansing off but Sansing dives into side control.
Owen tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Owen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sansing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sansing sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Owen taps out!

Alan Sansing was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
