Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Childish Gambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sick Puppy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gambino comes into the arena with Bonfire blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Puppy is predictable there
and Gambino connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Puppy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Puppy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gambino.
Puppy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gambino at a distance.
Nice defenses there by Puppy.
Puppy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Puppy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gambino throws a sloppy head kick and Puppy moves out of range easily.

Puppy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gambino looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Puppy looks to score with a jab to the body but Gambino is just out of range.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Puppy! But no joy.

Puppy throws a right hand that Gambino ducks under and follows up with a left that Gambino also avoids with ease.

It looked like Gambino was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Puppy.
Puppy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Puppy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Puppy cracks Gambino with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Puppy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gambino steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Puppy. That one must have hurt.
Puppy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sick Puppy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puppy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Puppy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Puppy misses with a hook. Gambino ducked under it nicely.

Puppy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Puppy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Puppy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Puppy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Gambino is rocked!
Puppy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gambino's face.
Oh Gambino is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Puppy won't let Gambino get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Puppy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Puppy loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Gambino scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Puppy land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Puppy stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sick Puppy!
Sick Puppy was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Childish Gambino stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well that sucks.'.
