Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Federico Leblanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poe gets caught flat footed, as Leblanc shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Leblanc could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Poe is trying to keep Leblanc in close.
Leblanc sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Poe looking for a guillotine here but Leblanc defends easily.

Poe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Leblanc is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leblanc controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Leblanc's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Poe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Poe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Leblanc might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Poe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leblanc is one step ahead there.
Leblanc slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Poe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Leblanc's guard.

Poe wants to control from the top but Leblanc keeps moving.

Leblanc is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Poe presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Leblanc.
Poe on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Leblanc tightens his grip and picks Poe up, before dumping him to the ground. Poe manages to land in guard.

Leblanc is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Leblanc has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Leblanc is posturing up here but Poe has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Leblanc tries to roll out but it's too tight and Leblanc has to tap! Slick submission there by Poe!
