Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Richerdson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulf Ek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ulf Ek!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richerdson has a takedown stuffed.

Richerdson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Richerdson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ek closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ek fails to land a wild elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richerdson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Richerdson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Richerdson is taking a breather. Ek says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Richerdson 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Danny Richerdson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Richerdson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ek as he avoids it easily.
Ek circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ek drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Richerdson defends it well.

Ek wants to control from the top but Richerdson keeps moving.
Ek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richerdson . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Richerdson has momentary wrist control but Ek slips an elbow through the middle.

I would just about give that final round to Ulf Ek.
