Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Fynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harrison Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Fynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harrison Yates! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fynn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yates's head backwards. Fynn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fynn attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Yates throws a counter combo. A nice inside leg kick there by Yates. That's going to slow Fynn down. Yates turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Fynn drives through with a takedown into guard. Fynn slips nicely into half guard. Fynn prevents Yates from improving his position. Fynn thows a huge punch but Yates dodges it nicely.
Fynn working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Yates keeping hold of Fynn's head, controlling as best he can. We've been hearing good reports from Fynn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Yates tries to roll over but Fynn keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fynn trying to control the action but Yates is working from the bottom. Fynn looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Yates blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fynn. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yates tries to get to full guard but Fynn has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fynn is looking for a kimura. That's three minutes gone in the round. Yates has control of Fynn's left arm, preventing Fynn from doing any damage. Fynn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yates swivels though and keeps the full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fynn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fynn drops back looking for a leg! Yates is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yates manages to kick Fynn off! Fynn jumps back into Yates's guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fynn scores with a push kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fynn scores with a takedown into Yates's guard. Yates seems keen to control Fynn's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fynn wants to control from the top but Yates keeps moving. Yates seems keen to control Fynn's posture. Fynn trying to control but Yates is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yates has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Fynn dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fynn doesn't succeed with the takedown and Yates counters with a head kick. Yates throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fynn makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Yates really felt that one! Yates throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fynn checks a low kick from Yates. Fynn throws a jab when Yates was well out of range. Fynn walks into a stiff left hand from Yates. Fynn darts in looking for a takedown but Yates gets double underhooks and turns Fynn into the cage. Yates connects with a crisp jab. Yates gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fynn to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bob Fynn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Yates working a defensive guard here.

Fynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Yates is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yates takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Is there anything that Yates can do to turn this around? Yates preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Yates is pulling down on Fynn's head to control his posture. Fynn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Yates is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yates is pulling down on Fynn's head. It's preventing any offense from Fynn, at least for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yates keeping moving, preventing Fynn from controlling successfully. Fynn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yates is proving hard to escape from. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fynn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fynn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fynn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fynn throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yates is looking for a sweep. Yates wants to control but Fynn postures up. Fynn moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. You can see the frustration on Yates's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fynn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Harrison Yates seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fynn shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Fynn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fynn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yates manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bob Fynn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fynn has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bob Fynn dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Fynn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Yates is trying to get back to full guard. Fynn not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Fynn looks to land a strike but Yates avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Yates working a defensive guard here.
Fynn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yates is proving hard to escape from. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fynn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fynn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fynn tries to free his leg and advance position but Yates is retaining full guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fynn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fynn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Fynn lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fynn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yates but Yates pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fynn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Yates fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Yates lands a head kick. Fynn smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Bob Fynn has been cut. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fynn checks a leg kick. A leg kick checked by Fynn. Fynn walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fynn moves into the clinch successfully.
Fynn tries for a takedown but Yates manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Fynn. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short left from Yates. Fynn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Harrison Yates is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fynn scores with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fynn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yates swats him away and circles back towards the center. Yates circles away from the clinch attempt.
A shot to the liver by Yates. Beautiful body shot. Fynn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yates as he jumps to the side. Yates thumps Fynn with a low kick. Bob Fynn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Yates keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harrison Yates has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A big right from Yates misses. Fynn misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Yates counters with a leg kick. Fynn looks for a takedown but Yates sprawls well. A little jabbing left from Yates on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fynn looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Yates fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fynn, pushing him back against the cage. Yates tries to land knees in the clinch but Fynn avoids the damage to the body. Yates tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fynn's elbow. Fynn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed right hand from Fynn misses the target. Fynn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yates fails in his attempt to clinch. Fynn shoots in but Yates avoids the takedown attempt easily. Yates looks to land a left hand but Fynn moved out of range nicely. Fynn on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yates. Yates obviously looking to wear him down.
Fynn shoots in for a double leg but Yates sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Yates! But no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fynn throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Yates misses the jab. Fynn shoots in but Yates avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fynn dives in and grabs Yates's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yates pushes down on Fynn's head and hops out. Yates misses with a straight left. Some wild striking there from Fynn.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yates swings for the body but Fynn moves out of range.
Fynn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yates sprawls well. Yates wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fynn gets slowly back to his feet. Yates throws a body punch but Fynn moves out of range. Fynn gets the takedown into side control. Yates manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Yates thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that's the end of the fight! Harrison Yates comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fynn has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
