Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete McKallister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Selfrid Bergman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pete McKallister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Selfrid Bergman!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKallister lands a two punch combo.
A nice leg kick lands there from McKallister.
Bergman takes one to the side of the head.

Bergman darts in and clinches McKallister up against the cage.
McKallister tries a knee to the head but Bergman blocks it.
Bergman is trying to pull guard but McKallister turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bergman.

McKallister escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bergman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bergman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bergman there as he acknowledges the shot.
A slow jab from McKallister misses its intended target.
A slapping leg kick lands for McKallister.
Bergman jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McKallister fires out a quick counter leg kick but Bergman just manages to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bergman tries to clinch up but McKallister circles away and keeps his distance.
A lazy left from McKallister finds it's target.
A left lands for McKallister.
Bergman swings for the body but McKallister moves out of range.
Bergman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bergman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bergman throws a series of punches but McKallister moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Some bone on bone action there as Bergman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
McKallister stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bergman dives in and grabs McKallister's left leg, looking for a takedown. McKallister pushes down on Bergman's head and hops out.
McKallister lands a leg kick that knocks Bergman off balance momentarily.
Bergman blocks a head kick by McKallister.
McKallister lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bergman takes a step back to recover.
McKallister misses with a hook. Bergman ducked under it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from McKallister as Bergman shoots in.
Pete McKallister has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Selfrid Bergman.
Bergman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McKallister defends well and Bergman ends up having to push McKallister into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
McKallister goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bergman throws a lazy right hand but McKallister sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McKallister misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by McKallister. That's going to slow Bergman down.
Bergman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McKallister.
McKallister lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
McKallister throws a low kick, looking for Bergman's leg but Bergman calmly moves out of range.
Bergman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bergman takes a kick to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bergman fails with the takedown
and McKallister counters with an outside leg kick.
McKallister connects with a right hand. Bergman shakes it off.
McKallister fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McKallister lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bergman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bergman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

McKallister lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bergman's sensitive parts.
McKallister lunges at Bergman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bergman's hand.
Bergman scores with the left hand. McKallister knows he should have avoided that one.
McKallister is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Bergman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McKallister quickly recovers to half guard.

Bergman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bergman prevents McKallister from standing back up.

McKallister is trying to stand up here but Bergman is controlling him well.

Bergman drops an elbow to the side of McKallister's head.

Bergman wants to free his trapped foot but McKallister is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Bergman slips a nice elbow through McKallister's hands, connecting with McKallister's forehead.
Bergman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bergman misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
You get the feeling that McKallister really doesn't like being in this position too much.

It looks like Pete McKallister has been cut.
Bergman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McKallister is looking to escape.

McKallister connects with a leg kick. Bergman looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bergman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bergman goes for a double leg but McKallister avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McKallister continues to drive forward.

Bergman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McKallister connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bergman scrambles back to his feet.

Bergman's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bergman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bergman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bergman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
McKallister scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
McKallister dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bergman. That did some damage!
McKallister misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pete McKallister is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McKallister loads up on a big right hand but Bergman slips the punch.
Bergman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McKallister.

McKallister circles away from the clinch attempt.
McKallister misses with a body kick.
McKallister fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bergman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Bergman counters with a takedown into side control.
Bergman content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
McKallister defending against the ground and pound.
Bergman wants to lay and pray for a moment but McKallister keeps working.
Bergman creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McKallister sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
McKallister wants to get back to his feet.
Selfrid Bergman has got the better of the ground game so far.

The ground and pound from Bergman seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
McKallister dodges the ground and pound from Bergman.
Bergman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
McKallister pushes Bergman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bergman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Bergman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bergman is landing with some decent strikes but McKallister is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You get the feeling that McKallister really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pete McKallister's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
