The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Romero looking to sit in guard and control but Holt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Romero has his hands on Holt's head, controlling the position.

Romero closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Romero wants to control for a moment but Holt uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

That's time! Holt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Romero throws a head kick that misses.
Romero gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Holt to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Holt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Holt drops back, looking for a kneebar! Romero looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Romero looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Romero!
