Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donato Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cormier has chosen Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russo drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cormier avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Russo looking to pass the guard.
Russo trying to control but Cormier is working from the bottom.
Russo slips nicely into half guard.
Russo prevents Cormier from standing back up.

Cormier throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Russo's head.
It looks like Donato Russo has been cut.
Corey Cormier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cormier lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Cormier connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Russo's hands.
Russo shoots for a double leg takedown but Cormier sprawls well. He's pushed Russo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cormier throws a nice looking combination but Russo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cormier lands a head shot.
Russo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Cormier stuffs the takedown attempt from Russo. Russo gets slowly back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Russo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donato Russo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Russo tries for a takedown but Cormier sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Russo is breathing heavily.
Cormier is looking to slow Russo down with leg kicks.
Russo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A left and a right from Cormier both land. Nice combination.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cormier drops Russo with a beautiful combination! Russo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cormier is looking for the KO!
Russo is rocked!
Donato Russo's cut is getting worse.
Cormier lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Russo is looking to close the distance but Cormier sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Russo crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Russo is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
