Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Tilthammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tilthammer has chosen Autumn - Suffer the wild dogs as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jiu Jitsu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
53 - 25 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Felix Tilthammer! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tilthammer thows a leg kick but Jitsu checks it and Jitsu counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jitsu is trying to work for a kimura but Tilthammer is defending well.
Tilthammer wants to control but Jitsu is keeping busy.
Jitsu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tilthammer defends it well. Jitsu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tilthammer is just riding it out for now. Jitsu eventually gives up the hold. Tilthammer works his way to full guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jitsu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tilthammer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Jitsu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jitsu wants to pass the guard but Tilthammer is keeping the position. Tilthammer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jitsu's guard. Jitsu trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Jitsu working for a triangle but Tilthammer defends it easily.
Jitsu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tilthammer controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tilthammer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jitsu looking for a guillotine here but Tilthammer defends easily.

Tilthammer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jitsu working for a triangle but Tilthammer defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tilthammer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Jitsu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tilthammer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jitsu throws his legs up looking for a submission but Tilthammer uses it to pass to side control.
Jitsu is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Jitsu tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Tilthammer wants to pass to mount but Jitsu is defending the position. Jitsu looking for submissions off his back. Jitsu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tilthammer is trying to control. Jitsu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Jitsu actively working from the bottom here. Tilthammer passes to full mount! Jitsu really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Jitsu is working hard here to advance position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tilthammer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jitsu is looking to escape. Tilthammer is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jiu Jitsu dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jitsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tilthammer pinned against the cage. Tilthammer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tilthammer feints and then cracks Jitsu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jitsu down. Tilthammer misses with a low kick.
Jitsu feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice sprawl there from Tilthammer as Jitsu shoots in. Tilthammer swings widly with a right hand
and Jitsu counters with a right hand to the body. Tilthammer looks to throw the jab but Jitsu is out of range. Tilthammer throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tilthammer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jitsu counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tilthammer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jitsu is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Tilthammer reverses the position - he's now on top in Jitsu's guard. Tilthammer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jitsu throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tilthammer is pushing down on Jitsu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jitsu is fighting to maintain full guard but Tilthammer has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jitsu tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Jitsu looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Tilthammer controlling the action here. Tilthammer trying to control the action but Jitsu is working from the bottom. Jiu Jitsu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tilthammer prevents Jitsu from improving his position. Jitsu slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jitsu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tilthammer's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tilthammer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jitsu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tilthammer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tilthammer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jitsu throws a big elbow that misses. Jitsu wants to pass the guard but Tilthammer is keeping the position. Tilthammer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jitsu is in close to Tilthammer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Tilthammer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Tilthammer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jitsu is wriggling around trying to escape.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jiu Jitsu will probably get the nod. That's time! Jitsu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Tilthammer throws out a loose jab but Jitsu uses good head movement to avoid it. Tilthammer throws the left hand but Jitsu avoids the punch easily. Jitsu shoots in for a double leg but Tilthammer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. As Jitsu backs off Tilthammer throws a huge counter combo but Jitsu manages to avoid it all. Tilthammer lands a high kick!
It looks like Jiu Jitsu has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Tilthammer. No joy for Jitsu on that attempt. Jitsu dodges the punch combination from Tilthammer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tilthammer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jitsu manages to avoid it. Jitsu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tilthammer but Tilthammer pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jiu Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tilthammer misses with an uppercut. Jitsu saw that one coming. Horrible takedown attempt by Jitsu or perhaps it was just good defense by Tilthammer, which made it look bad. Felix Tilthammer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tilthammer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jitsu's sensitive parts. Jitsu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tilthammer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Jitsu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tilthammer tries to avoid it but Jitsu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tilthammer to the ground. Tilthammer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tilthammer was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Tilthammer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jitsu on the side of the head. Felix Tilthammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tilthammer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jitsu. Jitsu moves out of range as Tilthammer strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jitsu fails with a takedown attempt. Tilthammer doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Jitsu tries to clinch there but Tilthammer circles away.
Jitsu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tilthammer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tilthammer throws out a powerful jab. Jitsu moves out of range of the strikes. Sloppy strikes from Tilthammer. Those never looked like landing. Jitsu shoots in looking for a takedown. Tilthammer tries to sprawl out of it but Jitsu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tilthammer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tilthammer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tilthammer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jitsu circles away quickly and effectively. Jitsu changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Tilthammer lands a nice shot to the body.

Tilthammer lands with a straight right. Jitsu didn't see that one coming. Tilthammer throws an overhand right that lands on Jitsu's shoulder, as Jitsu tries to avoid the shot. Horrible takedown attempt by Jitsu or perhaps it was just good defense by Tilthammer, which made it look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jitsu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jitsu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jitsu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jitsu checks a leg kick. Tilthammer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Felix Tilthammer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tilthammer misses with a looping right. Jitsu half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Tilthammer throws a right and a left that both miss. Jitsu seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Tilthammer misses with a left hand and Jitsu counters with a shoot takedown. Tilthammer fights it but they end up in guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jitsu scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Jiu Jitsu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tilthammer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jitsu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tilthammer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that's the end of the fight! Felix Tilthammer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jitsu has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
