The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mug throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Acevedo was covering up waiting for the punch and Mug finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Acevedo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Acevedo wants to sweep here but Mug controlling him for the moment.
Acevedo controls Mug momentarily but Mug frees himself.

Acevedo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mug sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Acevedo somewhat.

Mug's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Mug wants to free his trapped foot but Acevedo is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Mug slams Acevedo to the floor and that's really hurt Acevedo - he doesn't know where he is! Mug throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
