The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilligan tries for a takedown but Dall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dall feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Dall misses with a few strikes there.
Gilligan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dall defends it nicely.
Jim Gilligan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gilligan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dall sprawls well. Dall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gilligan gets slowly back to his feet.
