The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kong is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Gracie with a body shot.
Gracie slips under a jab.
Kong scores with a sloppy right hand. Gracie should have avoided that one.

It looks like Lucia Gracie has been cut.
Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kong throws out the jab.
Donkey Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kong looks to land a right hand but Gracie moved out of range.

Kong lands a big uppercut and Gracie crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gracie looks OK. Kong waves Gracie back to his feet!

Gracie is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kong connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Gracie out cold! This one is over in a flash!
