Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Apollodoros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Cotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apollodoros comes to the ring accompanied by Requiem for a dream. On his way into the ring it seems that Wolfgang Apollodoros has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wolfgang Apollodoros seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotto blocks the body kick.
Apollodoros is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Apollodoros on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Apollodoros takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Cotto misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Apollodoros definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A clash of legs there as Cotto blocks the low kick.

Apollodoros looks to land a left hand but Cotto moved out of range nicely.
Cotto looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Cotto misses with a looping left.
Apollodoros misses with a head kick.
Apollodoros takes a swing at Cotto's ribcage but misses.
Cotto circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Apollodoros to the canvas! Apollodoros doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cotto keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miguel Cotto!
