Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Corncrab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stuvasz Zubaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corncrab comes to the cage accompanied by TV on the Radio - Wolf Like Me. Stanley Corncrab has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stanley Corncrab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stuvasz Zubaz! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corncrab looks for a takedown but Zubaz sprawls well. Corncrab moves into range and clinches up with Zubaz. Corncrab has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zubaz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Zubaz can't escape the position.
Corncrab tightening his grip on Zubaz, looking for the choke. Corncrab is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Zubaz defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Zubaz is in bad spot here.
Zubaz rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Corncrab seems to be looking for submissions.
Corncrab looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zubaz is trying to maintain the position but Corncrab is very close to passing his half guard. Zubaz is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Corncrab pulls his head out easily. Zubaz tries to roll over but Corncrab keeps him under control. Zubaz looks gassed! Corncrab is looking for a kimura here.

Corncrab is trying to work for a kimura but Zubaz is defending well.
Zubaz is not content to let Corncrab control the position. Zubaz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Zubaz misses with a takedown attempt and Corncrab counters with a stiff right hand. Zubaz misses with a wild combination.
Corncrab fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Zubaz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zubaz trying to control but Corncrab is working from the bottom. Zubaz postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Zubaz working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Zubaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corncrab. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zubaz stopping the sweep attempt from Corncrab. Corncrab looking to control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Corncrab working for a triangle but Zubaz defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Corncrab drives through with a takedown into guard. Corncrab advances to half guard. Zubaz is in trouble now - Corncrab has advanced to mount! Corncrab working Zubaz over with strikes here. Corncrab can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Zubaz is looking to escape. Corncrab is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Zubaz has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Corncrab trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corncrab working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Zubaz looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Corncrab! Submission of the night perhaps?
