The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Whitaker . You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Whitaker .

It looks like Jared Tillion has been cut.
Tillion with a poor takedown
and Whitaker counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Whitaker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Whitaker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tillion.
Tillion takes one to the side of the head.
Tillion takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Tillion fails with a takedown attempt.
Whitaker looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jared Tillion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Whitaker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tillion darts in looking for a takedown but Whitaker gets double underhooks and turns Tillion into the cage.
A nice side step and Whitaker releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Tillion takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Whitaker pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Whitaker lands a big uppercut and Tillion crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tillion looks OK. Whitaker waves Tillion back to his feet!

Tillion is rocked!
Whitaker blocks the body kick.
Oh Tillion is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tillion tries for a takedown but Whitaker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Whitaker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tillion looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Whitaker drops Tillion with a huge uppercut! Tillion drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Whitaker is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
