Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Crose McCringe!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McCringe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones jabs McCringe right on the nose. McCringe blinks but takes it well.
McCringe walks into a stiff left hand from Jones.
It looks like Crose McCringe has been cut.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones lands with an uppercut that bounces McCringe off the cage and back into range.
McCringe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones.
McCringe is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Jones scores with a one two! McCringe had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

McCringe avoids the body shot from Jones.

and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by McCringe.
We've been told by Jones's head coaches at Thirteenth Legion MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
McCringe throws a counter combo.
Jones moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
McCringe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but McCringe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McCringe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Jones is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
McCringe swinging wildly here.
Jones bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McCringe's head backwards.
Jones catches McCringe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McCringe throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Mike Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crose McCringe.
McCringe takes one to the chin there.
McCringe on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jones drops McCringe with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McCringe looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
McCringe is rocked!
Jones fakes the body blow, causing McCringe to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! McCringe goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
