Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zsolt Plouman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sutherland is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2Pac - Keep Ya Head Up. Joe Sutherland will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zsolt Plouman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Sutherland! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plouman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sutherland pinned against the cage. Sutherland gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Plouman fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Plouman fails with a takedown attempt. Sutherland is looking for the big counter here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zsolt Plouman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Plouman shoots for a double leg takedown but Sutherland sprawls well. He's pushed Plouman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sutherland lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plouman fails with a takedown attempt. Plouman fails with the takedown and Sutherland counters with a two punch combo. Plouman fails with the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Sutherland as Plouman shoots in. Sutherland is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Plouman misses with a takedown and Sutherland counters with a crisp one two that drops Plouman! Sutherland thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Plouman to his feet! Plouman is in big trouble!
Plouman is rocked! Plouman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sutherland is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Plouman shoots in but Sutherland avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sutherland unleashes a big counter combination but Plouman bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Plouman dives in for a single leg takedown but Sutherland sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Zsolt Plouman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Plouman shoots in and bounces Sutherland off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plouman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sutherland swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Plouman trying to control but Sutherland is working from the bottom. Sutherland has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Plouman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Plouman is pushing down on Sutherland's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sutherland is fighting to maintain full guard but Plouman has managed to sneak the leg through. Plouman trying to mount his opponent but Sutherland defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sutherland is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Plouman pulls his head out easily. Plouman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sutherland defends it well. Sutherland avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Plouman. Plouman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sutherland has managed to free his arm - good work. Sutherland looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Plouman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Sutherland dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Plouman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sutherland tries to avoid it but Plouman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sutherland to the ground. Sutherland escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sutherland slaps away a takedown attempt from Plouman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Plouman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sutherland defends well and Plouman ends up having to push Sutherland into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zsolt Plouman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Plouman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sutherland stuffs the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plouman tries for a takedown but Sutherland circles away easily and Sutherland counters with a left and a right... And another left! Plouman is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
