Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Meyer Lansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lansky comes into the arena with Stranglehold - Ted Nugent blaring out of the sound system. Meyer Lansky has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lansky drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lansky tries to free his leg and advance position but Souza is retaining full guard.

Lansky sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Souza 's guard.

Lansky is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Souza has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Souza is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lansky is aware though and is defending well.

Souza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lansky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lansky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lansky in particular looking to stall.

Souza shoots in but Lansky avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Lansky drops down looking for an ankle pick but Souza pulls his leg out and moves away.

Lansky gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
