Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maku Hiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eza Nahka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maku Hiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eza Nahka! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hiro has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hiro there as he acknowledges the shot. Hiro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nahka swivels and escapes. Hiro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nahka.
Hiro goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Nahka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hiro might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hiro tries to get to full guard but Nahka has control of the leg. Hiro is pressing down on Nahka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Nahka trying to control the position from guard on top but Hiro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nahka stopping the sweep attempt from Hiro. Nahka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hiro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hiro tries to strike from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hiro tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hiro is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hiro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nahka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hiro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nahka swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hiro gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Maku Hiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hiro waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Nahka. Nahka gets caught flat footed, as Hiro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nahka looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hiro content to stall in guard here. Hiro pushing down on Nahka's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hiro trying to control the action but Nahka is working from the bottom. Hiro is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Nahka is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hiro throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hiro thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nahka's head.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hiro scores with a push kick. Hiro misses with a takedown attempt and Nahka counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maku Hiro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nahka keeps the fight on the outside. Hiro misses with a hook. Nahka ducked under it nicely. Hiro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nahka. Hiro misses with the body kick and Nahka connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hiro throws the left hand but Nahka avoids the punch easily. A bone on bone clash there as Nahka blocks the leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Hiro misses the target. Hiro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Nahka counter with a right hand. Nahka scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hiro is pressing down on Nahka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hiro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nahka is one step ahead there. Hiro preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hiro looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hiro lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

Nahka is pushing down on Hiro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hiro is fighting to maintain full guard but Nahka has managed to sneak the leg through. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eza Nahka dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hiro is looking to clinch. Nahka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hiro tries to avoid it but Nahka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hiro to the ground. Hiro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nahka is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Nahka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hiro closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nahka manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hiro is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Hiro winds up and cracks Nahka with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hiro takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hiro looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nahka with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Nahka tries to get to full guard but Hiro has control of the leg. Hiro looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nahka looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nahka tries to get to full guard but Hiro has control of the leg. Hiro wants to take a breather but Nahka is having none of it. Nahka is breathing heavily. Nahka has hold of Hiro's hands but Hiro slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Hiro working the head and body with strikes. Hiro working over Nahka with some ground and pound. Nahka looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hiro lands a nice short elbow. Hiro tries to pass to full mount but Nahka defends it. Hiro is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Hiro has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Nahka tries to reverse the position but Hiro maintains control.

This has been an exciting period of action! Hiro lands a heavy elbow. Hiro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nahka is looking to escape. Hiro lands with some strikes.

Hiro cracks Nahka with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Nahka is still in real trouble! Can Hiro finish him? Hiro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Nahka seems to have recovered his senses. Hiro breaks from Nahka's wrist control and lands an elbow. Hiro scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hiro scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Nahka?

Nahka wants to hold on but Hiro pushes him away. Hiro lands a big elbow. Hiro with a couple of short strikes. Hiro wants to control the pace but Nahka is squirming around nicely. Hiro working Nahka over with strikes here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nahka is working to get back to half guard.

Maku Hiro dominated that second round. That's time! Hiro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Hiro looks to throw a body kick and Nahka counters with a single leg into guard. Hiro didn't expect that. Hiro looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hiro will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Nahka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hiro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nahka takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hiro lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Hiro seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nahka looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hiro is nestled in close to Nahka, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hiro works his foot free and advances to mount. Nahka can't escape the position.
Hiro postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Nahka looks a forlorn figure.
Nahka is bucking up trying to escape but Hiro cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Hiro landing strikes from the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nahka tries to lock up and control but Hiro gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hiro looking to control but Nahka is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hiro is landing with some decent strikes but Nahka is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Hiro pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hiro scores with a couple of good head shots there.

A nice elbow there by Hiro. A big strike lands for Hiro! That's really hurt Nahka and he's turned his back - Hiro keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Hiro Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
