Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hamms Beer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jani Pakeinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beer looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pakeinen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Beer counters with a single leg into guard. Pakeinen didn't expect that.
Beer wants to stand and escape but instead Pakeinen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Pakeinen trying to control but Beer is working from the bottom.
Beer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pakeinen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Beer is proving hard to escape from.
Pakeinen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Beer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pakeinen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Beer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pakeinen's back instead.

Beer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Pakeinen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Pakeinen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beer is working away from the top position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Beer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
