And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miles Gunner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunner lands a jab to the head.

Long gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gunner to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Gunner trying to control the position from guard on top but Long is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Long working for a triangle but Gunner defends it easily.
Gunner postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gunner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've been hearing good reports from Long's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gunner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gunner trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Long controls Gunner momentarily but Gunner frees himself.
Gunner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Long is keeping the position for now.

Long working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gunner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Long is tightening it up a little... Gunner has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gunner reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gunner taps out! Nice BJJ there by Long!
