The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lothbrok uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ovmann.

Ovmann shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lothbrok is trying to defend but Ovmann finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ovmann is looking for the choke from the back position but Lothbrok is controlling his hands well.
Lothbrok might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Lothbrok's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Lothbrok is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Lothbrok doesn't manage to clinch there - Ovmann circles away.

As Ovmann looks to move away, Lothbrok throws a big counter combo bu Ovmann just gets out of the way.

Ovmann blocks an uppercut.
Lothbrok pushes off an throws an elbow but Ovmann leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Lothbrok's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ovmann has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lothbrok is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ovmann wants to take the fight to the mat but Lothbrok manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lothbrok has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
