Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamel Morin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meco Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jones tries to pull guard but Morin holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Morin throws a punch but it's blocked by Jones.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Morin uses his free foot to push down on Jones's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jones.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.

Morin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well Morin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
