Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Grice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grice is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by GZA - Shadowboxin'. Roger Little has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Little! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Gary Grice! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Grice counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Little is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Grice is controlling him. Grice lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Little working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Grice. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grice accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Grice slips nicely into half guard. Grice slows the pace down in half guard. Grice stops Little from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Little blocking the ground and pound attempt from Grice. Grice looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Little with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Grice stops Little from getting back to his feet.
We've been hearing good reports from Little's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Grice scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grice stalling. Little tries to get to full guard but Grice has control of the leg. Grice missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Grice is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Little! Grice won't let Little get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Grice sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Grice throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Little because Grice loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grice looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Little manages to regain half guard. Good work. Little looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Grice pushes past his half guard into mount! Grice lands a big elbow. Grice looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Grice landing shots from mount.
Little is rocked! Grice unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Little wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Grice celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary Grice! Gary Grice decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
