Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between thaigo alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). alves has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jose Aldo Junior told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that thaigo alves will probably get the nod.

alves fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Junior tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but alves paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Junior has alves pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. alves manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
