Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saul Goodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Dundee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dundee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wake Me Up In a Land Down Under kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Saul Goodman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce Dundee! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Summer Carpenter and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Dundee throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dundee dodges the punch combination from Goodman.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dundee! But no joy. Dundee misses with a right hand and Goodman moves into the clinch. Goodman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dundee prevents it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Dundee misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Goodman.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goodman blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Dundee misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Goodman is working for takedown but Dundee is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saul Goodman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goodman avoids a wild elbow strike from Dundee. Dundee creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Goodman pulls guard. Dundee throwing strikes but missing. Goodman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dundee. Dundee is looking to work some ground and pound but Goodman has wrist control. Goodman has Dundee pulled in close to control his posture. Goodman looking for a sweep. Not yet Goodman, not yet. Dundee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goodman looking for a sweep. Not yet Goodman, not yet. Dundee throws a strike but Goodman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goodman drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Goodman seems to have locked his on tight now - Dundee screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Goodman, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Saul Goodman! Saul Goodman took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title. Bruce Dundee spoke after the fight, saying 'I WANT A REMATCH!! Gunner is soft, I was unprepared!'.
