Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Zimbardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Vukovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bruce Zimbardo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bruce Zimbardo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruce Zimbardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mirko Vukovic!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimbardo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A head kick from Zimbardo lands but Vukovic takes it in his stride.
Zimbardo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Vukovic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Zimbardo throws a counter high kick but Vukovic was just alert enough to avoid it.
Zimbardo scores with a leg kick.
Vukovic dives in for a single leg takedown but Zimbardo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vukovic is defended easily by Zimbardo.
Bruce Zimbardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Vukovic.
Zimbardo avoids the head kick by Vukovic.
Zimbardo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Vukovic.
Zimbardo jabs Vukovic to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Zimbardo throws a head kick but Vukovic moves out of range.
Vukovic shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zimbardo defends it nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zimbardo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And Vukovic tries to counter it with a takedown but Zimbardo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vukovic misses with a takedown attempt
and Zimbardo counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Vukovic is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Zimbardo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Vukovic tries to clinch up but Zimbardo circles away and keeps his distance.
Vukovic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vukovic.
Vukovic throws a lazy head kick
and Zimbardo counters with a low kick, right behind Vukovic 's knee.
Vukovic ducks right into an uppercut from Zimbardo.
Vukovic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zimbardo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vukovic somewhat.
Vukovic looks winded!
Zimbardo cracks a nice hook into Vukovic's ribs.
Vukovic on the wrong end of a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zimbardo misses with a wild body shot.
A jab from Zimbardo does it's job there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zimbardo throws a head kick but Vukovic moves out of range.
Bruce Zimbardo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zimbardo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vukovic doesn't seem bothered though.
Zimbardo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Vukovic closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Vukovic shoots in looking for a takedown. Zimbardo tries to sprawl out of it but Vukovic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zimbardo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vukovic moves into the clinch.
Zimbardo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zimbardo lands with a nice body punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vukovic shoots and misses
and Zimbardo counters with a good, hard body kick but Vukovic shrugs it off.
Vukovic walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zimbardo.
Zimbardo lands a big head kick that sends Vukovic tumbling to the mat! Zimbardo takes a step backwards and waves Vukovic back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vukovic is rocked!
Zimbardo cracks the inside of Vukovic's front leg.
Vukovic is still on wobbly legs! Can Zimbardo finish him?
Zimbardo Throws a clean left jab. Zimbardo Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Vukovic's chin! Vukovic crumbles to the ground and Zimbardo follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Zimbardo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bruce Zimbardo!
