Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cruz Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prometeu Prometido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz Terry has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cruz Terry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Prometeu Prometido! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prometido misses with a few strikes there.
Prometido is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Prometido feints and as Terry raises his hands in defense, Prometido changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Prometido looking to pass the guard. Terry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Prometido showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Prometido gets to his feet - Terry follows without any prompting. Prometido throws a sloppy head kick and Terry moves out of range easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prometido defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Terry. Prometido is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Prometido shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Terry's guard. Prometido slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Terry working for submissions but it's allowed Prometido to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prometido decides to return to a standing position. Prometido looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Prometido looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Terry with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Terry looking for submissions off his back. Prometido working the head and body with strikes. Terry actively working from the bottom here. Prometido wants to lay and pray for a moment but Terry keeps working. Terry is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Prometido pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prometido tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Prometido with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Prometido thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Terry's head. Prometido is figuring out what he wants to do next. Prometido is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Prometido wants to get back to his feet.
Terry actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Prometido is going to stand back up.
Prometido seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Prometido misses with the combination.
Prometido scores with a kick to the midsection. Prometido closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Prometido lands in his opponent's guard. Prometido sitting in guard, not really doing much. Terry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prometido got a little sloppy there for a moment and Terry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Prometido has managed to get both his arms back between Terry's legs - danger averted. Prometido trying to control but Terry is working from the bottom. Terry is trying to control the position but Prometido postures up. Terry has his hands on Prometido's head, controlling the position. Prometido controls the pace of the fight for a moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Terry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Prometido can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prometeu Prometido dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Terry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Terry throws a sloppy head kick and Prometido moves out of range easily. Prometido throws a head kick that half lands.

Terry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Prometido pinned against the cage. Prometido gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Prometido throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick misses from Prometido. Left hook, right uppercut from Prometido.
Terry is rocked! Prometido shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Prometido slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Prometido lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Prometeu Prometido!
