Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Akbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akbar has chosen New Slaves as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Chambers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hunter Akbar! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chambers is looking to chop away at Akbar's legs. Akbar gets a double leg takedown into Chambers's guard. Akbar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chambers is keeping the position for now. Akbar is stalling in the full guard. Chambers has his hands on Akbar's head, controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chambers looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Akbar puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers wants to control but Akbar is keeping busy.
Chambers is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Akbar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Akbar's back! Chambers controlling the position well here. Akbar rolled but Chambers kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Chambers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Akbar tries to break free.

Akbar prevents Chambers from getting a body triangle. Chambers is really struggling to control Akbar but he's trying to hold on to the position. Akbar is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Akbar looking for the choke from the back. Akbar is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Well, with Akbar on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Chambers is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Akbar throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Chambers!
Hunter Akbar has got the better of the ground game so far. Akbar is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Hunter Akbar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Hunter Akbar's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Chambers swats away the attempt to clinch by Akbar. Horrible takedown attempt by Akbar or perhaps it was just good defense by Chambers, which made it look bad. Chambers clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chambers with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Chambers tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Akbar is working to get back to half guard.
