Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juji Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryu Sato will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juji Master! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryu Sato! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Master scores with a four punch combination! Juji Master seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sato looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Master ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sato moves away. Master misses the shot to the body. Sato tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Master moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Master circles away from the clinch attempt.

Sato scores with a takedown into Master's guard. Sato is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Master is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sato trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Master is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. That's one minute gone in the round. Sato drops back looking for a leg! Master is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Master manages to kick Sato off! Sato jumps back into Master's guard. Master keeping full guard, as Sato tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Master throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Master wants to stand up but Sato is controlling him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Master connects with a high kick. Sato ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Master moves away. Master punishes Sato's body with a nice straight punch. A right-left combo lands from Master. Sato looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Master is fending him off so far but Sato persists. Nope, Master circles away and we're back to standing. Sato takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Master works over Sato's head and body with a nice combination. Master takes the fight into the clinch. Master manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Master misses with a wild body shot. Sato throws a body kick that misses. Sato throws a looping overhand right but Master ducks down to avoid it. Sato takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Sato moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Master swings for the body but Sato moves out of range.
Master fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sato, pushing him back against the cage. Master lands a hook to the side of the head. Master lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sato or not. Sato looking to stall.

Master fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sato sprawls well initially but Master persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Master tries to stand and escape but Sato is controlling the position. Master missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Master is looking to advance position but Sato won't allow it. Master throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Master wants to stand but Sato has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Master thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A nice combination there by Master.
Master has taken the fight to the clinch.

Master throws a nice looking combination but Sato bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sato tries to clinch up but Master circles away and keeps his distance. Master is looking to wear down Sato with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Sato throws a leg kick that is checked and Master counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sato is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Master's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Master's back! Sato is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Master has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Sato sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Master taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ryu Sato!
