Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gigi Giorgio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spike Reaper has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gigi Giorgio's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Giorgio!
Giorgio is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Reaper.

Reaper shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Reaper was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Giorgio gets back to half guard.
Giorgio moves into full guard.

Reaper is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Giorgio is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Giorgio has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Reaper is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Giorgio defends well.

Reaper is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Giorgio is aware though and is defending well.

Giorgio thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Reaper has his foot on Giorgio's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Giorgio works his way back into a safe position though.

Reaper is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reaper kicks off Giorgio and gets to his feet.
Reaper darts in looking for a takedown but Giorgio gets double underhooks and turns Reaper into the cage.

Giorgio moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Giorgio looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Reaper fails with an attempt to clinch.
Giorgio seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Giorgio dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reaper. That did some damage!

Giorgio cracks Reaper with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Reaper throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Giorgio tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Reaper is in Giorgio's guard.

Giorgio has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Reaper should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Giorgio has tightened it up now! Reaper should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
