The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cameron tries to move into range but Heilgeist moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Sherwood Cameron has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Heilgeist.
Cameron shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Heilgeist lands with a shot to the body.
Heilgeist blocks a head kick by Cameron.
Cameron avoids the body shot from Heilgeist.
Adam Heilgeist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heilgeist connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Cameron swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Heilgeist scores with a decent looking hook.
Cameron really is a fat lump.
Heilgeist connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Cameron tumbling to the canvas! Heilgeist pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Cameron was done - good stoppage!

Adam Heilgeist decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
