The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Plouman is looking for a sweep. Cureton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cureton is looking to take a break and control but Plouman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Cureton dives in and scores a takedown into Plouman's guard.

Plouman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cureton's guard.
Cureton has his foot on Plouman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Plouman works his way back into a safe position though.

Plouman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Plouman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cureton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cureton has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Plouman to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cureton is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Plouman pulls down on the head and he's put Cureton to sleep! This one is all over!
