Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Absolut Vodka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kenny meets his father "Eduardo Sanchez". Absolut Vodka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eduardo Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Absolut Vodka! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vodka throws a half hearted mid kick. Vodka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanchez swivels and escapes. Vodka is looking to clinch but Sanchez is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vodka. Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown but Vodka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sanchez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Vodka scores with a one two! Sanchez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sanchez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vodka did well to prevent Sanchez getting side control. Vodka avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sanchez. Sanchez with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Sanchez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Vodka wants to improve his position but Sanchez is controlling well.
Vodka tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Sanchez has advanced to mount. Uh oh. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vodka can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vodka wants to hold on but Sanchez pushes him away. Sanchez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Vodka is wriggling around trying to escape.

Vodka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez avoids the attempt from Vodka to control. Vodka is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanchez has a good base and remains in mount. Sanchez content just to control the position here. Vodka is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Sanchez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sanchez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sanchez looking to finish with strikes here!
Vodka tries to get back to half guard but can't. Vodka is in a horrible position here. Sanchez smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez prevents Vodka from getting the reversal. Sanchez controlling the position easily from mount. Sanchez jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Vodka manages to avoid the submission attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vodka is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eduardo Sanchez dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Vodka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sanchez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sanchez changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Vodka moves into the clinch. Sanchez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Vodka prevents it.

Nope, Vodka circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eduardo Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanchez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vodka was covering up waiting for the punch and Sanchez finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Vodka avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sanchez. Sanchez controlling the action here. Vodka tries to get to full guard but Sanchez has control of the leg. Vodka is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Vodka is looking to control Sanchez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vodka avoid being mounted? Sanchez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sanchez controlling the action here. That was a close second round but I would say that Eduardo Sanchez will probably get the nod. That's time! Sanchez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Vodka throws a leg kick but Sanchez sees it coming and moves out of range. Vodka closes the distance and pushes Sanchez back into the cage. Vodka can't get the takedown.
Eduardo Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Absolut Vodka. Vodka is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sanchez to keep the fight standing. Vodka breaks the clinch.

Absolut Vodka seems to be getting the better of the standup. No luck with that takedown attempt from Vodka. Sanchez slips a jab and a cross from Vodka.

Sanchez shoots in but no luck this time. Vodka tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Sanchez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vodka closes the distance and clinches. Vodka manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Sanchez slips nicely into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Sanchez throwing shots but Vodka is blocking nicely. Vodka trying to hold on to Sanchez's head to control him but Sanchez postures up.
Sanchez is figuring out what he wants to do next. Eduardo Sanchez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Sanchez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sanchez looks for a takedown but Vodka sprawls well. Vodka shoots in but Sanchez avoids the takedown attempt easily. Vodka is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sanchez attempts a counter takedown but Vodka avoids it well and moves away. Sanchez fails with the takedown. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vodka fails to land with a series of punches.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vodka as he avoids it easily. Sloppy strikes from Vodka. Those never looked like landing. Absolut Vodka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Some wild striking there from Vodka.

And that's the end of the fight! Absolut Vodka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sanchez has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
