The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Vasquez lands a two punch combo.
Wu slips a jab from Vasquez.
Wu tries to counter with a takedown but Vasquez is quick to defend against it.
Wu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vasquez as he jumps to the side.
Wu swings away with a body shot that misses
and Vasquez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Vasquez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Vasquez tries to keep at a distance but Wu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Vasquez goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Vasquez throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wus head.
Vasquez works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wu breaks the clinch.
Wu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vasquez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vasquez with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Wu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Vasquez moves into the clinch.
Wu is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Vasquez lands a body shot in the clinch.
Wu is breathing heavily.
Vasquez is leaning against Wu and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Vasquez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Vasquez is working Wu over against the cage.
Vasquez lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Wu takes a shot to the head.
Wu tries to land knees in the clinch but Vasquez avoids the damage to the body.
Vasquez throws a big uppercut that drops Wu! More strikes from Vasquez and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Wu lies dazed against the cage as Vasquez celebrates with his cornermen!
