Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eldon Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanner Grimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grimm has chosen Lose Yourself as his entrance music. Tanner Grimm is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eldon Figueroa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tanner Grimm! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Figueroa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Grimm looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Figueroa seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Grimm is refusing to be controlled, as Figueroa sits in half guard. Figueroa decides to stand up. Grimm clinches up with Figueroa and pushes him back against the cage. Grimm is trying to break free. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Figueroa lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Grimm or not. Grimm turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Grimm manages to end up in side control. Figueroa is trying to escape the position but Grimm is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Figueroa wants to get back to his feet. Grimm looks winded! Grimm trying to control the position but Figueroa is working away. Figueroa is looking for a sweep. Figueroa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Figueroa is looking to improve his position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Grimm moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Figueroa tries to buck Grimm off but Grimm is having none of it. Figueroa is being controlled here. Grimm throwing shots but missing, from side control. Figueroa stops Grimm from passing to mount. Grimm decides to stand up, so the ref orders Figueroa to his feet. Figueroa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Grimm swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Figueroa closes the distance and clinches. Figueroa displaying some good clinch control by pressing Grimm up against the cage. Figueroa is struggling to control the position. Grimm takes an elbow to the forehead. Figueroa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Figueroa lands with a left to the head. Figueroa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Grimm's efforts to push away. Grimm has Figueroa pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Grimm pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Figueroa tumbling to the mat - Grimm dives into Figueroa's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Figueroa wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Grimm manages to pass to side control. Figueroa moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Figueroa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tanner Grimm will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A leg kick checked by Figueroa. Figueroa scores with a takedown into Grimm's guard. Figueroa tries to stand but Grimm is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Figueroa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Figueroa wants to stand but Grimm is controlling his posture from full guard. Grimm looking for a sweep. Not yet Grimm, not yet. Figueroa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Grimm is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Figueroa wants to stand but Grimm has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Grimm is trying to control the position but Figueroa postures up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Grimm can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grimm has a closed guard, preventing Figueroa from standing up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Figueroa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Grimm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Figueroa takes the fight into the clinch. Figueroa displaying some good clinch control by pressing Grimm up against the cage. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Figueroa obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Figueroa is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Grimm gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Grimm takes an elbow to the forehead. Figueroa comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Grimm ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Grimm no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Grimm wants to sweep but no luck. Figueroa trying to stand up but can't free himself from Grimm's guard. Figueroa controls from within his opponent's guard. Figueroa wants to stand but Grimm is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Figueroa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Figueroa gets to his feet - Grimm follows without any prompting. Figueroa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Figueroa performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grimm keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Grimm wants to control but Figueroa is keeping busy and won't allow it. Figueroa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Grimm can do to turn this around? Grimm wants to get back to his feet.
Figueroa not doing much here.
Figueroa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Figueroa wants to stand up but Grimm is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eldon Figueroa dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Figueroa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Grimm, pushing him back against the cage. Grimm is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Figueroa is keeping busy. Grimm avoids a wild elbow strike from Figueroa. Figueroa stalling against the cage.
Grimm breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Grimm takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Figueroa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Figueroa controlling from the top position. Figueroa wants to stand but Grimm has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Grimm keeping moving, preventing Figueroa from controlling successfully. Figueroa tries to stand but Grimm is controlling from the bottom. Grimm wants to get back to his feet but Figueroa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Figueroa wants to stand but Grimm has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Grimm is working an open guard so Figueroa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Figueroa moves in looking to clinch but Grimm pushes him off. Grimm shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Grimm was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Figueroa is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Grimm asserts his dominance and retains side control. Grimm tries to stand but Figueroa is controlling his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Figueroa is trying to improve his position. Grimm tries to score with some ground and pound. Figueroa controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Figueroa can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Figueroa tries to clinch but Grimm moves out of range. No luck for Figueroa with that takedown attempt. Figueroa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Figueroa stalling the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eldon Figueroa. I think Figueroa has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
