![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ringwald lands with a nice body punch.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Ringwald enables Petkovic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ringwald manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Petkovic with a flurry of punches that miss. Petkovic cracks Ringwald with a solid left hand.
Ringwald has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Petkovic should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ringwald has tightened it up now! Petkovic should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ronald Ringwald! Ronald Ringwald tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
