Romero connects with a leg kick. Martin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Romero is looking to clinch but Martin is avoiding it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Romero fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Martin.

Martin tries to counter with a takedown but Romero is quick to defend against it.
Martin ducks right into an uppercut from Romero.

Romero lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Martin is looking to close the distance but Romero sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Martin crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Martin is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Third Round Romero was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Douglas Martin stepped up to the mic, saying 'Much respect! Next time I will not LOSE!!'.
