Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Handle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredy Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Handle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Right On. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Handle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fredy Benton! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Handle stuffs the takedown. Handle misses with a double jab
and Benton counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Handle wants to improve his position but Benton is controlling well.
Benton content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Benton is thwarting Handle's attempts to control the position. Handle's coaches at Death Valley Training Facility have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Handle gets back to full guard.
Benton controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Handle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Benton is one step ahead there. Handle being controlled here, momentarily. Handle is pulling down on Benton's head. It's preventing any offense from Benton, at least for the moment. Benton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Handle controls Benton momentarily but Benton frees himself. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Benton with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Benton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Handle moves into full guard.
Handle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Benton is one step ahead there. Benton postures up.
Benton sitting in guard here, content to control. Handle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benton engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Handle looking for a sweep. Not yet Handle, not yet. Handle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Benton stopping the sweep attempt from Handle. Handle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Handle looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Benton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Benton distracts Handle with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Benton throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Benton working some strikes from top position. Benton stays in close to Handle's body and controls the position. Handle pulls Benton in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Handle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Handle misses with an uppercut. Max Handle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Handle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Handle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Benton fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Benton slips under a jab. Benton fails with a takedown attempt. Max Handle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredy Benton. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Benton shoots in and drives through. Handle sprawls well. Handle misses with a looping left. Handle lands a nice shot that snaps Benton's head back.

Benton feints the counter takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Fredy Benton will probably get the nod. That's time! Handle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Handle looks to land a left hand but Benton moved out of range nicely. Handle lands a lovely overhand right. Benton lands a jab to Handle's midsection. Nice sprawl there from Handle as Benton shoots in. Handle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Handle scores with a one two! Benton had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Handle lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Handle leaves Benton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Handle throws a shot from downtown. Benton moves away and avoids it. Benton has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Benton there as he acknowledges the shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Handle misses with a series of wild punches.

Benton gets a double leg takedown into Handle's guard. Handle has momentary wrist control but Benton slips an elbow through the middle. Benton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Benton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Benton landing with the ground and pound. Benton showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Handle is controlling Benton's posture. Benton landing some decent shots from guard. Handle keeping moving, preventing Benton from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Handle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Benton controls the pace. Handle trying to control the position here. Handle looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Benton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Handle is trying to get back to half guard. Benton gets to mount! Handle was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benton with shots to the head and body - Handle looks very uncomfortable down there. Handle tries to get back to half guard but can't. Benton postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Handle looks a forlorn figure.
Handle is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Benton landing strikes from the mount. Benton drops a big elbow. That's hurt Handle! More shots from Benton and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
