Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaspar Van Clausen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Martino! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Martino darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Van Clausen closes the distance and clinches. Martino stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Good body shot from Martino.

Martino lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Van Clausen tries to stall but Martino uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Josh Martino dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Martino tries to clinch but Van Clausen moves out of range. Martino lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Martino. Van Clausen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Martino on his heels. He'll look to pass Martino's guard now, I'm sure. Van Clausen wants to pass the guard but Martino is keeping the position. Van Clausen is working Martino over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Van Clausen prevents Martino from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Clausen stands up from guard. Let's bang! Martino connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Van Clausen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Martino is fending him off so far but Van Clausen persists. Nope, Martino circles away and we're back to standing. Van Clausen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Martino did well to prevent Van Clausen getting side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Martino looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Clausen takes a kick to the side of the head. Van Clausen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jaspar Van Clausen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Van Clausen throws a leg kick but Martino moved away. Martino is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Martino lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Martino lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Martino thumps Van Clausen with a low kick. Van Clausen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Martino sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Van Clausen somewhat. A solid leg kick lands there for Martino.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Martino misses. Martino scores with a jab. Van Clausen acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Martino instigates a clinch. Van Clausen has Martino pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Van Clausen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Martino tumbling to the mat - Van Clausen dives into Martino's guard. Van Clausen stands up from Martino's guard - Van Clausen perhaps looking for a knockout. Van Clausen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Martino sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaspar Van Clausen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Van Clausen gets tackled into the cage by Martino. Martino maintains the clinch. That's four minutes gone in the round. Martino lands an elbow just above Van Clausen 's eye. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Van Clausen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Martino pulls his leg out and moves away.
Martino lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Van Clausen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Martino defends well and Van Clausen ends up having to push Martino into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Martino cracks the inside of Van Clausen's front leg. Martino has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Martino throws a nice looking combination but Van Clausen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Martino goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Martino lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Josh Martino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Van Clausen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Martino was covering up waiting for the punch and Van Clausen finishes the takedown easily into guard. Martino wants to get back to his feet but Van Clausen is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Martino has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Van Clausen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Martino throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Martino cracks Van Clausen with a hook to the temple - Van Clausen is on wobbly legs here! Martino swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Van Clausen falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Martino wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Josh Martino! In defeat, Jaspar Van Clausen stepped up to the mic, saying 'I thank everyone for coming to watch tonight, my foe was just better, but it was a good fight and am going to learn from this and come back stronger.'.
