And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson misses with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ortiz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Robertson.
Ortiz can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ortiz tries to buck Robertson off but Robertson is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robertson swings around for an armbar but Ortiz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Robertson's guard.
Robertson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Robertson is looking to stand up but Ortiz isn't so interested in that idea.
Ortiz is stalling in the full guard.
Robertson really is a fat lump.
Robertson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ortiz is aware though and is defending well.
Robertson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Robertson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ortiz has picked Robertson up and slammed him! Robertson can't keep hold of the triangle and Ortiz manages to pass to side control!

Ortiz wants to stand but Robertson has his arm trapped.
Ortiz postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Robertson is looking to get back to his feet here but Ortiz is keeping cool and he's managed to take Robertson's back.

Robertson is trying to get back to his feet but Ortiz has full control of the position and if anything, Robertson has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Ortiz looking to break Robertson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Robertson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ortiz will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Ortiz is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Robertson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Ortiz has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Robertson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Ortiz doesn't care though - he's delighted!
