Cropp's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cropp instigates a clinch.
Cropp escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cropp darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cropp takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Thump is concentrating on defense, preventing Cropp from advancing position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thump keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Cropp working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Cropp lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Thump is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cropp is trying to work for a kimura but Thump is defending well.

Cropp thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cropp is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Thump is hurt! He's hurt bad - Cropp fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Thump from any more punishment! Congratulations to Cropp! Great finish!
