Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keeneth Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen hall of fame as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeff Chandler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keeneth Jones! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chandler misses with a looping left. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Chandler controlling the position for now. Jones looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Chandler is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Chandler is pressing down on Jones's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Chandler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chandler is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Chandler works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chandler stalling. Chandler is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it. Chandler prevents Jones from standing back up.
Chandler missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Chandler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Chandler lands strikes from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chandler thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jones looks winded! Chandler lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Chandler content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Chandler is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jones! Chandler dominating with strikes here. Chandler controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is in a horrible position here. Chandler smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Chandler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Chandler connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Chandler with a couple of short strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chandler controlling the pace for now. Jones takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeff Chandler dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Chandler swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Chandler misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Chandler is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones. Chandler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away. Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Chandler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Chandler appears to be looking for a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chandler keeps the fight on the outside. Keeneth Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Chandler looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range. Jones throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones pushes Chandler up against the cage in a clinch. Chandler is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Chandler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Chandler is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jones can do to turn this around? Jones tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Chandler avoids it. Chandler goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones misses with the combination.
Chandler appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Chandler feinted with a counter takedown. Jones is breathing heavily. Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Chandler tries to counter with a takedown but Jones is quick to defend against it. Chandler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. An inside leg kick from Jones misses. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chandler attempts a counter takedown but Jones avoids it well and moves away. Chandler dodges the punch combination from Jones.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chandler drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jones sprawls and moves away. Nice defenses there by Chandler. Jones throws a head kick that misses and Chandler counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chandler. Chandler seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Chandler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chandler seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jones for as long as he can get away with. Chandler keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chandler is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chandler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chandler advances position into side control! Chandler creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chandler lands a decent elbow from side control. Chandler working the ground and pound. Jones takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Keeneth Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jones misses with a double jab
and Chandler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard. Jones can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chandler controls the pace. Chandler throws a big right hand that misses. Chandler throwing strikes from guard but Jones blocks nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chandler looking to pass the guard. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Chandler sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chandler stands and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control. Chandler lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Chandler lands a nice forearm strike. Chandler just content to control the position. Chandler in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Chandler has knee on belly and moves into mount. Chandler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Chandler is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jones can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Chandler is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chandler controlling from the full mount. Chandler pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Chandler fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Chandler looking to control and managing it successfully. Chandler lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jones in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Chandler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeff Chandler showed his dominance in that final round. I think Chandler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
