The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Pekka.
O Brien wants to slow Pekka down by chopping away at his legs.
Pekka looks to land a body kick but O Brien moved away.
O Brien misses with a head kick.
O Brien walks into a left hand.
Pekka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Brien.
Pekka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but O Brien manages to avoid it.
Pekka thows a left - swing and a miss!
Pekka takes a jab right on the kisser.
Pekka has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Heart Cave in the buildup to the fight.
Pekka throws out a loose jab but O Brien uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pekka chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Pekka takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Pekka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
O Brien throws a sloppy body shot
and Pekka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Billy O Brien has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pekka looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
O Brien throws a series of strikes that have Pekka backpedaling.
O Brien misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A low kick from Pekka misses
and O Brien cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
O Brien takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
O Brien misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Pekka to counter with a crisp jab.
Pekka throws a jab when O Brien was well out of range.
Pekka paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Pekka takes one to the side of the head.
O Brien lands a glancing blow to the side of Pekka's head.
Pekka connects with the punch.
O Brien throws a hook but Pekka avoids it easily.
O Brien tried to score with a low kick but Pekka checks it.
O Brien gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
O Brien throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pekka.
Pekka misses with the body kick
and O Brien counters with a nice right hand that sends Pekka toppling to the canvas! Pekka scrambles and gets back to his feet - can O Brien finish him?!
Pekka is rocked!
It looks like Brutaali Pekka has been cut.
O Brien fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Pekka out cold! Brutal finish!

A relieved looking Billy O Brien thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
