Yomama misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carpenter scores with a takedown into Yomama's guard.
Carpenter is looking to advance position but Yomama has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Yomama can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carpenter is looking to escape.
Yomama is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Yomama controlling the pace for now.

Yomama prevents Carpenter from getting the reversal.
Yomama tries to control but Carpenter wriggling away.

Let's hope that Yomama has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, Imgonna Yomama just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Good leg kick by Yomama there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Carpenter is breathing heavily.
Yomama stuffs the takedown attempt from Carpenter. Carpenter gets slowly back to his feet.
Yomama tries to close the distance and clinch but Carpenter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yomama cracks Carpenter with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Carpenter falls to his knees and Yomama doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Imgonna Yomama!
