And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Masahiko Kimura!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura walks into a stiff left hand from Anderson.


It looks like Masahiko Kimura has been cut.
Anderson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Anderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kimura.

Anderson darts in and clinches Kimura up against the cage.
Anderson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Anderson digs a right hand into Kimura's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kimura's gas tank.
Kimura is working for takedown but Anderson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Brownie Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Masahiko Kimura.
Kimura is trying to pull guard but Anderson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Kimura jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anderson walks away with a smile on his face. Kimura gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kimura shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Anderson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kimura.
Brownie Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kimura gets a double leg takedown into Anderson's guard.

Anderson kicks Kimura off and gets to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Anderson scores with a kick to the body.

Anderson throws a good cross that connects.
Kimura looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Anderson leaves Kimura with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kimura on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson fakes the leg kick and cracks Kimura in the body.
Anderson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Anderson, right into the meat.

Anderson is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Kimura is trying to pull guard but Anderson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Anderson with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Kimura is trying to drag Anderson to the mat but Anderson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

A nice right hand lands inside from Anderson.

A less than humble Brownie Anderson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
