Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnson Frederick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koya Molar! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molar misses with a takedown attempt and Frederick cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Koya Molar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Molar throws the left hand but Frederick avoids the punch easily. Molar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Molar doesn't succeed with the takedown and Frederick moves into the clinch. Frederick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Frederick tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Molar manages to circle out of the way. Molar pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Molar with a poor takedown and Frederick counters by moving into the clinch. Johnson Frederick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koya Molar. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frederick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frederick is rocked! Frederick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Molar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Frederick stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Oh Frederick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Molar throws a monster overhand right that drops Frederick! Molar follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Koya Molar! An out of breath Koya Molar thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
