Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Lewsk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacare Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Lewsk looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lewsk. That did some damage!
Romero darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Romero connects with a nice short shot to Lewsk's temple.

Romero seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Romero working over Lewsk with some ground and pound. Lewsk looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Lewsk has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Romero is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lewsk is not content to let Romero control the position.
Romero takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Lewsk is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Romero is nestled in close to Lewsk, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lewsk is rocked!
Romero lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Lewsk quite badly. Lewsk pulls Romero in close trying to recover. Romero postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Lewsk on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Lewsk doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacare Romero!
